I chose this hotel for our team retreat in Ho Chi Minh City because it provided all the necessary facilities and services. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient, surrounded by restaurants and bars. The room was comfortable with good amenities.

The only downside was the poor wifi connection, which made it difficult to stay connected for work purposes.

Location: the hotel was just off shops, coffees and restaurants, the city centre and bus station and night life street. Local fast food option Goburger was 5 minutes walk away...

Clean rooms and great location - close to Ho Chi Minh City center yet just 30 minutes to the airport. Learned a lot about Vietnamese wildlife and met some interesting night companions. Staff is friendly and helpful - with one service that stood out being the manager's ability to communicate in English.

Great central location and helpful staff. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the center and just a few minutes' walk from the street food court. The staff at Hoang Phi were always welcoming, helpful, and had a smile on their faces. They really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel also has an elevator and accepts credit cards, which is very convenient.

Although the hotel had some minor drawbacks, such as outdated furniture and a musty smell in some areas, these were overshadowed by the positives. I would definitely recommend Hoang Phi Hotel for its central location, helpful staff, and convenient amenities.

I recently stayed at a hotel in District 1 and it was a great experience. The location was fantastic as it was near many attractions and everything I needed was within walking distance. It was also close to the city bus station, which made it easy to reach the water park. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. The service provided by the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a variety of options and was delicious. Plus, the hotel had great facilities like a lift and a mini supermarket nearby. The view from the hotel was also quite nice.

One minor drawback was that the shower didn't drain properly, leaving the bathroom floor wet.

Great location for sightseeing, with good restaurants and bars nearby. Central market facing the hotel and within walking distance to the Vincom centre. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Tom who worked the night shift. He went above and beyond to assist us during our stay.

The rooms were smaller than expected and in need of some maintenance. There was a bit of dampness in our room, which attracted small flies, particularly in the bathroom.

The air-conditioned rooms at Hoang Phi Hotel are really comfortable and cozy. The flat-screen cable TV is great for relaxing and watching your favorite shows. The marble flooring gives a touch of elegance to the room. I loved the seating area where I could relax and unwind. Plus, the free WiFi was a big bonus!

Perhaps some people may find the air conditioning a bit too cold for their liking.
